Should I fertilize my tuberose plants? And when?

Tuberoses will benefit from fertilizer incorporated into the soil at planting time, or applied as a side dressing when they have emerged.
If you have done a soil test, you will have a recommendation about the amount of nutrients to use.
If you haven’t had your soil tested, just use a regular commercial fertilizer that is lower in nitrogen and higher in phosphorus and potassium - something like 5-10-10. Use the same amount as you would use when fertilizing any other flower or vegetable crop.
